As you may know, I have been on a hiatus over the last six weeks. If you saw my previous blog post you know that our house church suffered a huge tragedy in February, as the 15-year old son of our friends unexpectedly passed away. I haven’t been able to concentrate on anything during that time and we just needed some time together to hold one another and grieve. It has been difficult and I ask that you keep us in your prayers.
Since many of you have been so gracious in walking with me, checking in on me, and praying over me, my family, and my friends over the last six weeks since Abbott passed away… I want to make sure you check out my latest podcast entitled, For Abbott. I wouldn’t encourage you to drive or be around people in general when listening because it is quite emotional, but it is an absolutely essential message for people to hear and I want to share it with you.
Here is where you can listen to it:
The music from that episode was generously provided by Mt. Wolf from their upcoming album Aetherlight. Over the last year I have fallen in love with two of their songs in particular, Anacrusis and Heavenbound, both of which are in this episode. They were so kind and generous to let me use their music, I would love it if you would support them and send them a note of appreciation. You can find out more about them at http://mtwolfofficial.com/
Also, I am so grateful to have been asked to join the guys from Not Your Pastors Podcast for a discussion about legalism within the church. We talked for about an hour and a half. One thing I shared during our talk was, “The law, or follow the rules, is good entry point for civility and behavior modification, but not the answer for heart transformation and a rich and full life. Legalism can only take you so far.” I would love it if you checked out the interview and show the boys at NYPP some love.

Lastly, the NYPP boys also have an AMAZING project that they introduced about a month ago called Not Your Pastor’s Pulpit. They have asked individuals to send in five minute sermons about Jesus… and the first three sermons have been incredible, to say the least. You should really check ALL of them out, but at least, at a minimum, listen to the sermon that I submitted.

For the risk of OVEREXPOSURE I will leave it at that for today 😊 Thanks for your continued love and support. You all are amazing and I am so thankful that my words can point people to Jesus and following him.
Peace and Love…
